Disaster Recovery from MTI

Customized Disaster Recovery Plans for Speech IVR Applications

Whether it is called a disaster recovery plan (DRP) or a business continuity plan (BCP) or a business process contingency plan (BPCP), having a plan in place to protect against equipment or telecommunication failures is becoming an increasingly important part of enterprise computing.

Disaster Recovery from MTI allows organizations to handle failures and overflow traffic without the expense of purchasing, housing, and maintaining redundant equipment or off-site facilities, and without the expense of provisioning redundant telephone carriers.

With MTI's disaster recovery plans in place, companies can have peace of mind knowing that their applications are protected by a twenty-two year-old company with twelve years of hosting experience.

Dallas InfoMART Disaster Recovery Site

An integral part of MTI's disaster recovery planning is its redundant infrastructure. In additional to a highly redundant data center in located on-premise in Atlanta, GA, MTI has a disaster recovery site in Dallas, TX. The disaster recovery site is located at the Dallas InfoMART, a large " technology community" catering to bandwidth-intensive companies. Call traffic from Atlanta can be automatically shunted to Dallas when necessary for all of MTI's customers. In addition, a manual over-ride function provides Atlanta Network Operation Center operators the ability to reroute calls in anticipation of impending emergencies. In conjunction with the robust infrastructure at MTI's Atlanta facilities, the Dallas Disaster Recovery Site allows MTI to provide business continuity with minimal disruption of service for its customers.
