Co-Location Configurations

MTI offers single-unit, half-rack, and full-rack configurations.

Single Unit

- Access to a single UPS system

- Single port LAN access to MTI's managed DMZ switch

- 1 public IP address

- NOTE: This configuration is limited to headless servers.

Half Rack/18U*

- Access to dual UPS systems, 5 amps each

- Single LAN access to MTI's managed DMZ switch

- 8 public IP addresses

- 16-port dedicated switch (uses 1U)

- 12-position (11 available) rack-mounted power distribution module (uses 1U)

Full Rack/36U

- Access to dual UPS systems, 10 amps each

- Two port LAN access points to MTI's managed DMZ switch

- 16 public IP addresses

- 2 16-port dedicated switches (uses 2U)

- 2 12-position (11 available) rack-mounted power distribution modules (uses 2U)

*Customers using the supplied dedicated switches and power distribution modules will have 16U available

Add-on Services

Monitoring

MTI can help you decide the best level of monitoring for your application and business environment. Points of monitoring can include verifying status of web servers, processes, disk space, database engines, and more. You can be alerted of down conditions via pager/SMS, email, instant messenger, or syslog. Pricing is based upon the number of monitoring points.

Backups

MTI offers a variety of backup options. Onsite backup is priced per gigabyte of data. Off-site backups are available in DVD or DLT forms.

Technical Services and Support

With MTI, you can choose to install your own equipment (assisted by an MTI technician), or have MTI install it for you. We can also service your equipment, install add-on equipment, and provide troubleshooting and maintenance services. These services are charged on an hourly basis and are available on nights, weekends, and holidays. Please contact your MTI account manager for applicable rate schedules.
